Shipping

Orders £25.00 or over are shipped FREE OF CHARGE. For orders under £25.00 our shipping fee is £3.20 within the UK or £5.80 within the rest of Europe. For shipping outside Europe please enquire. Orders are normally dispatched (unless otherwise stated) within 1 working day of receipt by Royal Mail 2nd class post. Full payment is required before goods are shipped.

Returns

(1) Introduction

We understand that from time to time you may wish to return a product to us.

We have created this 30 day returns policy to enable you to return products to us in appropriate circumstances.

This returns policy applies to customers in England and Wales/irrespective of your geographical location.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights (such as your rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling Regulations 2000).

(2) Returns

Where you have no other legal right to return a product and receive a refund or exchange, then you will nonetheless be entitled to return a product to us where:

(a) we receive the returned product within 30 days following the date of delivery of the product;

(b) the returned product is unused, in its original unopened packaging (with any seal or shrink-wrap intact), with any labels still attached, and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new;

(c) you comply with the returns procedure set out below; and

(d) none of the exclusions set out below apply.

(3) Returns procedure

In order to take advantage of your rights under this returns policy, you must:

inform us via email (sales@vikingbodycare.com) of your intent to return the item within 48 hours of delivery

Products returned under this policy must be sent by recorded delivery.

You will be responsible for paying postage costs associated with returns under this policy.

(4) Exclusions

The following kinds of products may not be returned under this policy:

(a) food, drink and any other products liable to deteriorate within the period set out in Section 1 and 2 above;

(b) DVDs, CDs and other audio or video or audio-visual recordings;

(c) computer software (whether on CD-ROM, DVD-ROM or otherwise);

(d) newspapers, periodicals, magazines or similar products;

(e) toiletries and cosmetics;

(f) any product made to your specification;

(g) any product made to order;

(h) gift vouchers.

(5) Refunds

We will send you a refund for the full price of any product properly returned by you in accordance with the terms of this returns policy excluding the original delivery charges and excluding the costs of returning the product to us). Please be aware that although we offer Free Delivery, we subsidise the delivery fees within the purchase price of each item. Consequently, if you wish to return an item we reserve the right to refund less than the original purchase price; i.e. we will refund the original price minus the delivery cost.

We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.

We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any event, within 30 days of the day we received your returned product.

(6) Improper returns

Where you return a product in contravention of this policy (and where you do not have any other legal right to return the product):

(a) we will not refund or exchange the product;

(b) we may retain the returned product until you pay to us such additional amount as we may charge for re-delivery of the returned product; and

(c) if we do not receive payment of such additional amount within 14 days of issuing a request for payment, we may destroy or otherwise dispose of the returned product in our sole discretion without any liability to you.

(7) Cancellation

The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 legislation offers you the following cancellation rights when you buy online or by phone:

You are entitled to cancel your contract if you so wish, provided that you exercise your right no longer than 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods or services.

Your right to return products does not apply to goods made to your specification, that have been clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

If you wish to exercise your right of cancellation, you are obliged to retain possession of the goods and take reasonable care of them.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your contract by a clear statement, including details of your name, address, details of the order you wish to cancel and, where available, your phone number and email address.

If you decide to cancel, you should return the goods to us by recorded delivery at your cost within 14 days of such cancellation and we will reimburse to you (by the method used to pay for the original transaction) the amount in relation to goods to which cancellation rights apply. This includes the cost of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you choose a type of delivery other than our standard and least expensive method of delivery).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. We will make the reimbursement no later than 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied.

The right of cancellation does not apply to the delivery of products which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygienic reasons if unsealed by you after delivery, or which are, after delivery, inseparately mixed with other items.
